Msn games backgammon ratings

Stalls reversing turn of play, opponents nickname does not appear in chat box, no change to rating when above mentioned quit, Why not a cheats league, they can vie for a tossers trophy. Stalls causing game to crash, but no notification of general error, just blue screen. Of course no one admits to being a cheat. All day its the cheaters …pausing and stalling…. I dont know what or how and mostly i dont know why…. Sublethal twin is another fouled moth cheat…. Ill go first….

KnockdownChip enters. SheetIsi enters. Unlike other players I have video recorded most of the above cheaters throughout the entire game not just a screen shot and in many instances the same offender more than once on the same date.

I am certain that some of the above offenders will probably be the same person using a different nickname; there will never be justice for the frustration they have caused! The site is not flawless and there are a number of usual disconnect errors for no apparent reason. I have noticed this by being logged in different computers and from different locations.

In fact, the server in use and I assume there is more than one does not always keep track of wins or loses; some of you might have already tallied your totals to verify.

As far as I am concerned reporting to Zone Master has been proven useless. Cheating has been going on for years with no intervention; it is a shame! Out of curiosity and anger I spent long hours to research the internet and was able to successfully duplicate one of the cheats.

Now, why am I sharing all this? To simply verify that there are inherent weaknesses with the design of the game. The game needs to be redesigned to possibly not penalize those who get unintentionally disconnected or those who obviously are winning based on the number of remaining pips, etc, etc. Enough said and good luck to all who may continue to patronize the site!

I as well have had all these experiences and more playing thousands of games over the last year or more. I do think that this is a smaller group of players playing under many different names.

I'd like to know how the points won or lost are calculated and how diffences in the ratings of the players effects the point system By the way, It seems to me that the current system discourages players with higher scores from playing with those with significantly lower scores by making the points won so much less that points lost.
