Monday, January 9, PM. Cheers Jamie, It's always the little things the trip me up!!!! Your solution worked a treat. Kevin and Jamie I am trying to move a file from a folder to an archive folder. Thanks Annie. Thursday, March 2, PM. In the file system task, for the source it asks for a single file name and does not allow me to specify the multifile connection manager Thanks Annie.

Ah yeah, you're right. Sorry about that. Wednesday, March 5, PM. I'm doing this same thing in a package, but I don't use File Connection managers.

I'm simply using variables which contains the source and destination file names. Storing the File System Task properties in variables. Step 1: Declare the variables for each property. Operation: This property is integer type which has following meaning:.

Move file. Delete File. Rename file. Set Attributes. Create directory. Copy directory. Move directory. Delete directory. Delete directory content.

Copy file. Source : It is string type which the name of the file connection of source folder. Destination : It is string type which the name of the file connection of destination folder. If it is true then it allows the content in the destination folder. We will get File Connection Manager Editor. Very annoying,. You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
